Those are some feel good quotes from/about Sobotka. Only getting him in 1 game before playoffs isn't great. He's going to need to fit in fast.

Probably the matchup that both teams wanted. Should be a good series.

Gump - Looks like the dates are wide open for both teams arenas. Any sense on if it will start Wednesday or Thursday?

Let's enjoy it man. I hope it is not like last time where a few fans jostled and kicked when the other was down.

Two really good teams going at it. Could depend on which goalie is hotter at the time.

A couple players from both teams can be cheap--Edmundson who thinks cross checking is legal and Steen who appears to want to a plastic surgeon when he retires. The Wild have a few who cross lines. Dumba is like Edmundson. Parise and Steen could renact the start of the Youngblood fight scene when they duel with sticks.

I suspect whoever gets out of your series will achieve a pyrrhic victory.

Reports are that Stastny is walking without the boot and without a limp.

Avs have been strong in the dot (2nd best) and Lehtera won 75%, Barbashev 50%, Steen 67%, Sobotka 50%, and Sanford 56%. Bergy 44%

Sobotka should have an advantage in the dot in the playoffs (less familiarity, less video, etc).

Last night he was without the boot. Wouldn't be surprised to see him suit up for game 1.

Not at the moment.

Selling my house, it is under contract.

Looking for a new one, so there might be projects well into June if I find one.

Nice!

Hey a bit of rust but otherwise Sobie looked good out there.

I almost got the feeling he wasn't planning on staying here with his reaction to the fans cheering for him after the game. or he was utterly overwhelmed and realized what a terrible mistake he made.

What do we think the lines will be game 1?

Sounds kind of like the blues are playing around and letting people think Stats isn't ready but I think he will play Game 1

Man did the league ever crap on this series. Easter day. Really?

Late starts are annoying but you can deal with it. Annoying that they build in an extra rest day later in the series when they could easily have used Easter for that day.

Now have 2 sets of tickets for Game 3 I have to move.

We all knew that the Hawks weren't going to get screwed (at least as much as the Blues and Wild), nor were the eastern conference teams, so that left us and the wild. We really needed Calgary to finish behind Nashville to have any hope of not getting the short end of the schedule this round.

NBC and TV money run everything. Local fans are barely an afterthought when it comes to playoff dates and times.

Yeah, I was expecting it. Doesn't change the fact that I am not happy about it.

Either way he is back for at least these playoffs. Little bit of rust, but yeah, looked decent.
